What interests me about Douglas fir is the incredible structure of the wood. The monochrome colouring abstracts the materiality, leaves room for interpretation and is not immediately readable, inviting to be explored. The polished and waxed hard parts of the annual rings highlight the structure, only through the play of light, alternating between rough and smooth.
After the works are exhibited in Munich, shipping is possible after 1.10.23 at the earliest.
